Cause of teen's death unknown

FARGO - An autopsy performed Friday on an 18-year-old Fargo South High School student, who died unexpectedly Tuesday night, has not yet determined a cause of death, police said today.

"They can't find a reason," Fargo police Sgt. Jeff Skuza said, adding there are still some tests pending. "It'll be weeks before we know anything more."

Brian Curtiss Hunt was walking up to his Fargo apartment with friends Tuesday night about 11 p.m. when he collapsed in laughter.

When he did not follow the friends into the building, they checked on him and found him unconscious and not breathing.

He was later pronounced dead at Innovis Health.

Police have said they do not suspect foul play and have found no signs of injury or chemical, alcohol or drug abuse.
