Outside a room, police heard a woman crying, and Doe met officers at the door. Once inside, officers saw a woman by a bed, covering her face with her hands and crying. When officers approached the woman, Doe attempted to pull away from an officer.
The woman identified Doe by one of his aliases and told police that the couple were married on Nov. 17. A marriage license was recovered along with Doe's photo IDs.
The woman also told officers that on Nov. 24, Doe had choked her until she was unconscious at the hotel, and that on Nov. 25, Doe had bitten her on the arm and buttocks.
