MnDoT awarded $1 million for fixes

WASHINGTON D.C. -- The Federal Highway Administration awarded the Minnesota Department of Transportation $1 million to repair damage from spring flooding.

The grant is administered by the U.S. Department of Transportation for eligible repairs that include those to restore essential traffic, minimize the extent of damage or protect the remaining facilities and make permanent repairs necessary to restore the highways to their pre-disaster condition.

Cottonwood and Jackson counties were affected by the March 4 flooding.
