Pipestone man arrested for criminal sexual conduct

PIPESTONE -- A Pipestone man previously convicted of domestic assault and disorderly conduct is now facing a charge of criminal sexual conduct, according to documents filed with Pipestone County District Court.

Donovan Edward Hollis, 26, is charged with one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, which carries a maximum penalty of 15 years incarceration and/or a $30,000 fine.

According to the criminal complaint, authorities were dispatched at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday to take the report of a victim who said she had been in the residence of Hollis in the city of Pipestone.

He had allegedly called and asked her come over and pick up some things.

While she was at his house, she stated, he forced himself on her.

She allegedly stated she fought with him, then he grabbed her and took her to the floor, holding her down. At one point, she stated, he put his forearm over her mouth and nose, so she bit him.

After speaking with the victim, deputies went to Hollis' house and arrested him. While speaking with him, they noticed he had a mark on his arm that was consistent with a human bite.
