Graphenteen chosen for program
SLAYTON -- Lisa Graphenteen, chief operating officer at the Southwest Minnesota Housing Partnership in Slayton, is one of 50 leaders selected for the NeighborWorks Achieving Excellence in Community Development Program, conducted in conjunction with Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government.
The Achieving Excellence Program is an 18-month educational program for senior leaders in community organizations that have a focus on affordable housing, community revitalization or other community development endeavors. The only comprehensive, intensive training of its kind, Achieving Excellence includes three formal sessions at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
The Southwest Minnesota Housing Partnership is a non-profit community development corporation based in Slayton that serves 30 counties in rural Minnesota.
