WORTHINGTON -- Producers from around the area will be selling locally grown food starting Tuesday at Worthington Farmers Market in downtown Worthington. The Saturday Worthington Farmers Market will begin July 6 in the parking lot at Ace Hardware along Oxford Street.

People are invited to come shop at the market and enjoy a wide variety of locally produced products including fruits, vegetables, eggs, homemade baked goods, plants and handmade items.

The Tuesday market will be every Tuesday during the growing season from 4 to 7 p.m. in the former Campbell's Soup parking lot at the end of 10th Street in Worthington.

The Saturday market runs every Saturday during the season from 6:30 a.m. to noon.

There is still space for more producers to sell local goods. Producers who would like to sell fresh produce and/or baked goods at the Worthington Farmers Markets can call the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce at 372-2919 to register.
