Crashes

Osceola County Sheriff’s Office: one-vehicle crash, 9 a.m. Tuesday, 250th Street, Melvin, Iowa. A 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by Alex M. McDougall, 17, of Melvin, Iowa, was westbound on 250th Street and attempted to stop at a stop sign on U.S. 59. Due to the ice and blowing snow, the Pontiac slid into the stop sign, causing approximately $1,000 in damage to the Pontiac and approximately $100 in damage to the stop sign. No injuries were reported.

Osceola County Sheriff’s Office: one-vehicle crash, 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, Ashton, Iowa. A 2004 Honda Element, driven by Leticia Granillo Sotelo, 38, of Austin was southbound on Iowa 60 north of Ashton when she lost control on the icy roadway. Granillo Sotelo entered the west ditch, rolled and came to rest upright. The Honda received approximately $15,000 in damage. Granillo Sotelo was transported to the Osceola Community Hospital by the Sibley Ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

NCSO: rollover crash, 10:35 a.m. Wednesday, Nobles County 35 and Nobles County 6.

WPD: 2:17 p.m. Wednesday, Minnesota 60 roundabout.

WPD: 3:49 p.m. Wednesday, Nobles County 35. Worthington Ambulance dispatched for minor injuries.
