Suspects arrested in Marshall burglary

WORTHINGTON – Three people have been arrested in conjunction with an Oct. 29 burglary in Marshall.

As a result of a routine traffic stop on Nov. 10, the Worthington Police Department arrested Michele Lopez and Julio Hernandez, both of Worthington, and a 17-year-old Estherville, Iowa, resident.

The burglary involved a vehicle that had been stolen in Worthington that was used to crash through the front of Borch’s Sporting Goods and steal firearms from the store.

Lopez and Hernandez have been charged with possession of a pistol, possession of stolen propery and possession of a pistol without a permit. In addition, Hernandez has been charged with receiving stolen property.

The juvenile is charged with possession of stolen property, possession of a pistol without a permit and possession of a firearm by a person under 18.
