Man faces burglary charges

WORTHINGTON – A former Worthington man made his initial appearance in Nobles County District Court Tuesday on charges of burglary, property damage and trespassing.

Marshall Bejarno, 27, of Granite Falls, was arrested Dec. 13 after Worthington Police Department investigated an alleged break-in at Graham Tire.

The complaint states on the night of Dec. 8 an unlocked door, broken window and shoe prints were found in Graham Tire.

Police were led, by the tracks they found, through a private garage, an apartment building and several business lots.

Surveillance video from Graham Tire showed the suspect wearing a black sweatshirt with white letters. Jaycox Implement also reported prints around their business, and surveillance video showed the same suspect.

Bejarno has an extensive criminal history with numerous arrests and convictions for burglary and thefts from businesses.

Bejarno remains in custody in the Nobles County Jail. An evidentiary hearing will be set for a later date.
