Dollars for Scholars application process set to begin
WORTHINGTON — The Worthington chapter of Dollars for Scholars will begin accepting applications for 2018 scholarships on Jan. 15.
Scholarship applications will be accepted through the deadline of March 15.
All Worthington High School seniors are eligible to apply for the awards, which are given to students who will be pursuing post-high school educational opportunities.
In May 2017, the local chapter gave $27,000 in scholarships to 26 graduates from the WHS Class of 2017. Typically, 25 to 30 scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $2,500 are awarded by the Worthington chapter.
The application process, which is administered online, may be started by high school students at any time simply by visiting worthington.dollarsforscholars.org. Completed applications may be submitted as early as Jan. 15, but will not be accepted for consideration after March 15.
