UPDATED: New candidates file for District 518 board of education
WORTHINGTON — Two more candidates are vying for one of Worthington school district’s three vacant board of education seats.
Incumbent Mike Harberts and Adam Blume filed Tuesday morning.
Harberts will have served one year on the board, after filling an interim board vacancy. Blume was a participant in a new Worthington Think Tank group that formed last spring to bring a recommended solution on district overcrowding to the Board of Education.
Harberts and Blume join incumbent Lori Dudley, current board chair, and Robert Carstensen.
The filing period ends tonight at 5 p.m.
