Emma Lucille Feit

Emma Lucille Feit, age 90, of Worthington, died Monday, September 10, 2018, at South Shore Care Center in Worthington. Emma was born July 15, 1928, in rural Rushmore, MN, the daughter of Edward and Barbara (Paul) Sachen.

Emma attended country school in rural Rushmore. On October 13, 1957, Emma was united in marriage to Donald Feit at St. John's Lutheran Church in Rushmore, MN. After their marriage Don and Emma made their home at Fort Sill, Oklahoma while Don was in the military and later around Worthington. Emma worked at Lang's Bakery and at Campbell's Soup Company until she retired. Emma entered South Shore Care Center in November 2016. Church was a very important part of Emma's life; she was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Worthington. Emma and Don enjoyed fishing, camping and going for a drive and stopping to have lunch. Emma will always be remembered for her amazing baking skills, especially her pecan pies and fudgins. Blessed be her memory.

Emma is survived by her sister, Hazel Martinson of Brewster, MN and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her parents, Edward and Barbara Sachen; her sisters, Marion Doeden, Minnie Nelson, Nellie Grant, Gertie Laffrenzen, Edith Vogt, Lillie Obermoller and Clara Martinson and her brothers, William Sachen, Roy Sachen, Paul Sachen and Edward Sachen.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Worthington, MN, with Pastor Mark Schreiber officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Worthington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
