AMATEUR BASEBALL: Buttermakers win two, blank Martins

HADLEY -- Derik Johnson pitched a complete-game shutout Sunday, as the Hadley Buttermakers earned a 3-0 victory over Fairmont in amateur baseball (First Nite League/Gopher League) action.

Johnson issued only one walk, while striking out five and scattering seven hits.

Hadley crossed the plate twice more in the frame, as singles by Joel Larson and Alex Petersen (2-for-3) were followed by a walk and a pair of Fairmont errors.
