Hail evaluation clinic is Monday

LEOTA — University of Minnesota Extension Agronomists Seth Naeve and Jeff Coulter, along with Extension Educators Liz Stahl and Mike Boersma, will be on hand to answer questions on managing crops damaged by the June 16 storm that went across southern Minnesota.

The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. Monday on the John Busman farm, 776 First St. (1½ miles east of Minnesota 91 on 1st Street/County Road 71).

Topics include evaluating damage, replant decisions and options, potential for interactions with disease, and potential weed and other pest problems.
