College wrestling: Hser Eh Pwae wins three at DWU Open

MITCHELL, S.D. -- Hser Eh Pwae won three matches for Minnesota West Community and Technical College Saturday at the Dakota Wesleyan Open in Mitchell, S.D.

Pwae, a Worthington High School graduate, went 3-2 in the tournament. His brother, Hser Moo, was 1-2.

Keon Naranjo, wrestling unattached, was 0-2. Zach Rucktaeschel was 0-2. King Blanchette, another WHS grad, won one match and defaulted in the other due to injury.

Minnesota West brought just five wrestlers to the tournament because of injury concerns. Four of the Bluejay wrestlers were unavailable, but head coach Bryan Cowdin said all four should return soon.
