Minnesota West hosting homecoming events

WORTHINGTON -- Minnesota West Community and Technical College invites the public to attend "Artichokes, Murdering Bankers and the Farm Crisis of the 1980s," presented by regional author Joe Amato, at 1 p.m. today in the Minnesota West Worthington Campus Fine Arts Theater.

As another part of the college's homecoming activities, Minnesota West and the Nobles County Library are hosting a genealogy workshop Saturday. There will be four sessions during the day, which will be from 8:45 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sessions include: How to relate local and regional histories to a personal story, tools for recording your personal story, utilizing for research and using the Nobles County Library's new microfilm reader.
