College basketball: Bluejay men beat Central Lakes

BRAINERD -- The Minnesota West men's basketball team defeated Central Lakes 74-61 Friday in the Central Lakes Classic, overcoming a 35-25 halftime deficit to outscore their rivals 49-26 the rest of the way.

Jackson Seitzinger scored 21 points to lead the Bluejays. Derek Buysse had 13 points and 10 rebounds and Cody Harris had 13 points.

Bryan Gichaba and John Jedneak scored 13 and 12 points, respectively, for Central Lakes.

The victory moved Minnesota West to 9-3 on the season. Today, the Bluejays play Vermilion at 2 p.m.
