Prep tennis: Luverne shuts out Fairmont

FAIRMONT — The Luverne tennis team continued to roll Saturday in a 6-0 road win over Fairmont.

Luverne coach Greg Antoine was particularly pleased with his singles play.

Jonny Vajgrt took a 6-2, 6-0 win over Austin Becker with Andrew Jelken shutting out Carter Klanderud. Erik Wohnoutka and Jacob Jarchow got 6-0, 6-1 wins at third and fourth singles.

Blake Ziegler and Cory Stroeh added a win at No. 1 doubles with Hunter Robinson and Chris Jelken winning at No. 2.
