College wrestling: Minnesota West wrestlers go 0-2 at nationals

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa -- Minnesota West Community and Technical College wrestlers Hser Eh Pwae and Wallace Michels did not place in the national NJCAA tournament in Council Bluffs, Iowa, over the weekend.

Pwae, a Worthington High School graduate, competed at 125 pounds. Michels, a Norwood-Young America product, competed at 157 pounds.

Both wrestlers went 0-2 for the tournament.

"It was definitely an eye-opening experience for both of them. I'm proud of both of them," said Minnesota West head coach Bryan Cowdin. "It'll help both of them in the long run."
