Sixth- through eighth-graders pose with Nobles County Family Services social workers Monday at Worthington Middle School. The students are holding the 19 blankets they made through the school's Volunteer Optimist Kiwanis Kids and Students Against Destructive Decisions programs. The blankets were donated to NCFS and will be given to Nobles County children in need. The donation is in conjunction with May being National Foster Care Month. During the month of March, students created 25 blankets that will be distributed to children at Sanford Regional Hospital Worthington, the Worthington Police Department and ambulance and family services.
