Children ride a train through the city park in Rock Rapids Saturday afternoon as part of that community's Heritage Days celebration. The afternoon in the park also included inflatables for the kids and a car and motorcycle show.

Ted Buhner, one of two Worthington Police Department bicycle patrol officers, bikes near the grade on Lake Okabena Tuesday afternoon in Worthington. As part of the WPD's efforts to increase visibility and availability to the public, Buhner welcomes being approached by anyone with information or questions. "The patrol right now concentrates on city parks but we respond to  calls around town as well" said Buhner, who puts on around 20 miles in a three or four hour period.
