Phil Smith handles a straight-from-the-oven turkey morning in preparation for Worthington's annual community Thanksgiving dinner at First Lutheran Church. Looking on is Terry Morrison, who has long helped coordinate the event. Morrison said the number of delivered meals grows each Thanksgiving; 56 were set as of late Thursday morning. Food, as usual, was prepared for approximately 225.
