OKOBOJI, Iowa — The 34th annual University of Okoboji Winter Games Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the Hedberg Theater located in the Maritime Museum in Arnolds Park. SANBORN, Iowa — The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people on drug-related charges following a traffic stop at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on Polk Avenue southwest of Sanborn. The driver, Kevin L. Jennings, 46, of Cottage Grove, was apprehended after a short foot chase. He and a passenger, Kimberly F. Broyles, 28, of Blue Mound, Kan., were both charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, interference with official acts, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), possession of methamphetamine, and possession of amphetamines.
