Thomas C. Morgan, 65, of Aberdeen, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008. A graveside service will be 3 pm. Saturday in Round Lake Cemetery.
Frank Vos was born on July 10, 1923 in Chandler, Minnesota, to Jake and Lillian Lindsey Vos. In 1928 the family moved to the Vos family farm in Mason Township, Murray County, MN. Frank attended country school Prairie Hope District #112. On March 9, 1945, Frank enlisted in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge on November 27, 1946, he returned to the family farm. On January 9, 1960, he and Marcella (Sally) Metz Molitor were married at St. Ann's Parsonage in Slayton, MN. Following their marriage they farmed the family farm northwest of Slayton.
Dora Marie Buchman, age 96, of Worthington, died Monday, October 20, 2008, at the Crossroads Care Center, in Worthington. Dora is survived by her stepson, Ray (Karen) Buchman, Worthington; six step grandchildren; 16 step great-grandchildren; eight step great-great-grandchildren; brother, Willie (Bernadine) Kunze, Worthington; four sisters, Alice Wilkens, Worthington; Helen Grimes, Worthington; Lorraine (Art) Schaap, Worthington; and Leatha Kunze, Worthington; and a sister-in-law, Elaine Kunze, Rapid City, SD. Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St.
John Fred Baumgard, 85, of Fulda, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home, Fulda. Surviving are four stepchildren, Gary (Connie) DeGrote, Northfield, Twyla (Curt) Schipper, Algona, Iowa, Alan (Gail) DeGrote, Worthington, and Gail (Kevin) Johansen, Slayton; two sisters, June (Carl) Harberts, Emery, S.D., and Norma (Duane) Defries, Rochester; 10 step-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. today at Faith Lutheran Church, Avoca. The service will be 10:30 a.m. today at Faith Lutheran Church, Avoca.
Marjorie "Marge" Tentinger, 79, of Slayton, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, at Our House Hospice Home, Slayton. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, with a parish rosary at 4:30 p.m. and prayer service at 7 p.m., and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, all at St. Ann's Church, Slayton. The service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Ann's Church, Slayton. Burial will be in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Avoca. Totzke Funeral Home, Slayton, is in charge of the arrangements.
Ethel Olsen, 90, of Pipestone, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, at Avera Heart Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hartquist Funeral Home, Pipestone Chapel. The service will be 11 a.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church, Pipestone. Burial will be in Ihlen Cemetery.
Emory Beckman, 87, of Fulda, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home, Fulda. Paul Douglas Rahders 82 years of age, Born November 27, 1925 in Miles City, deceased October 18, 2008 Mother - Miriam Packer Rahders Father - Buckley Rahders Paul moved to Helena from Miles City when he was 6 months old after his father was killed in a car accident. He attended elementary school in Helena, graduating from Pillsbury Military Academy in Owatonna, Minnesota and enlisted in U.S. Army where he spent 2 ½ years in Northern Europe during WWII.
Mary Clerc, 43, of Windom, formerly of Mountain Lake, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at Fairmont Medical Center. Surviving are her husband, Rick Clerc, Windom; two sons, Ethan Clerc and Colin Clerc, both of Windom; parents, Norman and Esther Nelson, Mountain Lake; and five siblings, David (Connie) Nelson, Comfrey, Mike (Kelly) Nelson, Mountain Lake, Mark (Lynn) Nelson, Ham Lake, Lisa (Bjorn) Hurlen, Alexandria, and Lona (Jim) Baumann, Eagan. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at LaCanne Family Funeral Service, Windom, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
