The wines were among the 3077 total entries from 621 wineries in 16 countries judged at the 2017 FLIWC, which was hosted March 24-26 in Rochester, N.Y.

FRIDAY, APRIL 7 TRACK AND FIELD Mountain Lake Invite MOUNTAIN LAKE -- Winning all four relays and getting an individual victory from John Irwin, the Windom Area Eagle boys scored 116 points to finish first in a nine-team high school track and field meet at Munson Field Friday. Irwin won the 1,600-meter run (4:50.61) and anchored Windom’s winning 4x800 (8:56.34) and 4x400 (3:47.66) relay teams.
The 2017 Daily Globe All-Area Boys Basketball Team: First Team Ryan Christopher 6-3 senior guard Jackson County Central The all-time assists and steals leader in JCC history, Christopher helped lead the Huskies to the Minnesota state Class AA tournament for a second consecutive year. Averaged in double figures scoring in his senior season with seven assists, six rebounds and six steals per game. Does everything well.

WORTHINGTON — Worthington High School inducted its 2017-2018 National Honor Society members during a program at the high school last month.
WORTHINGTON — Worthington Middle School students who have read over one million words (some up to over 5 million) attended a special Million Words Club lunch Monday that was donated by Pizza Ranch and coordinated by Amy Benson and David Hartzler, There are 62 WMS students who were at 1 million words or more by the end of third quarter, which represents twice the number the school had for all of last year.
