MINNEAPOLIS — A former employee of Anytime Fitness in Worthington has been charged in the death of a 1-year-old girl, according to a WCCO report. Nicholas Larson, 27, of Shakopee is facing a charge of second-degree murder. Authorities say his DNA was found on the ears of baby Tara Engman, who died of a traumatic brain injury in December 2015, WCCO reported.

Friday, May 13 BASEBALL JCC 11, Windom Area 0 JACKSON -- Ryan Christopher and Keegan Klontz combined on a no-hitter as Jackson County Central blistered Windom Area in five innings Friday in a high school baseball game. The top two hitters in the Jackson County Central lineup, Easton Bahr and Christopher, were both 3-for-3 at the plate. Teammates Darrius Johnson, Nathen Lewis and Logan Preuss had two hits each for JCC.
