WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Concert Association will offer four concerts during its 2017-2018 season. The concerts will be: Main Street Souvenirs (pianist, composer, visual artist); Michael Johnson (singer, songwriter and guitarist); WindSync (woodwind quintet) and Derik Nelson & Family (siblings). In addition to these concerts, Worthington Concert Association members may also attend reciprocity concerts in Slayton, Windom and Sheldon, Iowa.

ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa — Iowa State University (ISU) Extension and Outreach is searching for volunteers to help with harvest of produce at the ISU Research and Demonstration Garden this summer. The garden is located at the Lyon County Fairgrounds in Rock Rapids. Produce from the garden is donated to area pantries as part of ISU Extension and Outreach’s efforts to fight hunger in Iowa.

Friday, May 19 RRC/W-WG wins twice MILROY -- Red Rock Central/Westbrook/Walnut Grove won a pair of baseball games Friday in Milroy, beating Tracy-Milroy-Balaton 9-0 and Wabasso 9-2. Both RRC/W-WG and Wabasso are state-ranked. RRC/W-WG is now 16-3 on the season.
