WORTHINGTON — Sanford Worthington and Community Blood Bank are joining forces to help ward off fall blood shortages by hosting a blood drive event. The blood drive will take place from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1 at Sanford Worthington Medical Center. All blood donations will stay local for local use.

WESTBROOK — The Westbrook Police Department and Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office are requesting the public’s help in locating a missing juvenile being described as a runaway. According to a social media post, Melissa A. Keithahn, 17, was last seen Tuesday morning when she was picked up by an unidentified individual for school. She did not report to school that day and hasn’t been seen since.
MARSHALL -- Worthington competed hard, but came up short against top-seeded Marshall in the Section 3AA volleyball playoffs Thursday night.
