Jean Nystrom, Worthington, and Dan and Lori Allen, Mitchell, S.D., announce the engagement of their children, Rachel Nystrom and Tyler Allen. Nystrom is also the daughter of the late Marvin Nystrom.
Nystrom is a 2006 graduate of Worthington High School and 2011 graduate of Bellevue University with a bachelor's degree. She is employed at Avera McKennan, Sioux Falls, S.D.
Allen is a 2005 graduate of Mitchell High School and 2008 graduate of Mitchell Technical Institute. He is employed at Knology, Sioux Falls.
They plan a Sept. 29 wedding in Worthington.
