ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa - Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will host a meeting to discuss delayed planting from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. June 4 at the Frontier Bank basement, 301 Main Ave., Rock Rapids. The meeting is free and open to the public.

If your fields are too wet to plant, you feel way behind on field work and/or you are wondering how crop insurance will work if you cannot get a crop in the ground, make plans to attend.

Speakers will include Joel DeJong, field agronomist with ISU Extension and Outreach, Gary Wright, farm business management specialist with ISU Extension and Outreach, Sam Sherwood, Farm Service Agency and Tom and Becky Block, HP Crop Insurance.
