SLAYTON — A free Winter Crops Day and Small Grains Program will be offered Feb. 20 at the 4-H Building on the Murray County Fairgrounds, 3048 Broadway Ave., Slayton.
Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m., with presentations to begin at 9 a.m. The event will go until 4 p.m. and includes lunch.
The program will offer the latest university-based research and information, including presentations on weed management, crop pest scouting, nitrogen management, economics on land rent, production agronomics, variety selection and small grain economics.
