MARSHALL - The SW MN Private Industry Council (PIC) Board of Directors announced Tuesday the selection of Carrie Bendix as the next executive director of the SW MN PIC.
Bendix’s background includes: former center director for Employment Action Center in Minneapolis; past experience in providing consultation, mentoring, leadership development and evaluation with a board of directors and executive directors of 156 small nonprofits on organizational development on a national level; fiscal management, personnel management, and strategic planning; past experience in employment and training programs; key player in the SW/SC WIOA Regional Plan; and service on the Suburban Hennepin and Carver counties’ workforce development boards.
In addition, Bendix has been the Rural Career Counseling Coordinator for the South Central and SW MN Private Industry Council since March 2016.
