SLAYTON — A charter bus ride is being offered by Murray County Extension to attend the Minnesota Summer Beef Tour July 12, at the University of Minnesota St. Paul campus and the Minnesota Zoo.

All are welcome, and seats are available on a first come, first serve basis. There is a fee to ride the bus, however, all 4-H members and their parents can ride at no charge courtesy of Murray and Pipestone County 4-H.

To reserve a seat, call the Murray County Extension office at (507) 836-6927 and state how many seats you want to reserve. A minimum of 28 people must be pre-registered to ride the bus, otherwise the bus will have to be cancelled.

Tickets to attend the beef tour can be purchased online at z.umn.edu/MNSummerBeefTour. Lunch and supper are included in the ticket cost. Following dinner and time spent at the zoo, the charter bus will travel back to southwest Minnesota that same day.

For any questions regarding the charter bus travel arrangements, call the Murray County Extension office or email mkrunck@umn.edu .
