WEST FARGO, N.D. — The Bobcat Company announced Tuesday, May 10, that the company is establishing a new assembly plant to be located in Rogers, Minnesota.

The investment in a leased building at 19850 Diamond Lake Road South on 22 acres will add an additional 225,000 square feet in production capacity. The company plans for the plant to be operational in the fourth quarter of 2022.

"This investment further demonstrates our commitment to our presence in Minnesota, while supporting the growth we are experiencing in the marketplace," said Mike Ballweber, president of Doosan Bobcat North America, in a news release.

The Rogers facility is located near the intersection of Interstate 94 and Minnesota Highway 101 in Hennepin County. The location will allow Bobcat to optimize manufacturing logistics by streamlining the company's supply routes alongside other locations in the region, and help create supply efficiencies that support both market demand and the company's growth plans, according to the news release.
