ST. PAUL — Horse owners are invited to attend equine conferences focused on performance horses Feb. 7-8 at the University of Minnesota Leatherdale Equine Center, St. Paul.
The Equine Professionals Conference is from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 7 for equine veterinarians, farriers and vet technicians, while the Feb. 8 event is from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and open to horse owners. The program at each event covers furosemide effects on performance horses.
Additional discussions and presentations are planned each day.
The Feb. 7 program has been approved for three Minnesota Board of Veterinary Medicine continuing education credits.
