Erwin promoted to Advertising Manager at The Globe

WORTHINGTON - Denise Erwin, who began her employment with The Globe in April 1999, has been promoted to Advertising Manager.

 

Erwin has worked in multiple capacities at The Globe. Her past duties include Customer Service Representative, Sales and Marketing Manager, Circulation Manager, Multi-Media Sales Consultant and Customer Care Associate.

 

“Denise will be a fantastic addition to our management team and will help lead our talented sales department to the next level in our ever-changing world,” Publisher Joni Harms said. “She has been instrumental in the growth and development of several departments within our newspaper, and her passion for The Globe to succeed is second to none. I believe this is a wonderful opportunity for Denise and a great fit for our company as a whole.”

“I’m very excited about my new role working with our outstanding sales team,” Erwin said. “I’m  looking forward to assisting in the rollout of a couple of really great projects we have in the works that both our readers and advertisers are going to love.”

 

Erwin’s past and current community involvement includes service on the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce’s Marketing Committee (chairperson) and the Community Image and Retail Committee. She has served two terms on the Windsurfing Regatta & Music Festival Board of Directors (member and secretary), and was appointed in January to the Worthington Public Arts Commission. She has also assisted with King Turkey Day and Winterfest activities.

 

In her spare time, Erwin enjoys fishing, crafting and creating art of all kinds.
