Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) is hosting free, virtual event


ST. PAUL — The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) is hosting a free, virtual 2021 Industrial Hemp Forum from noon to 4 p.m. Feb 10-11.

The event is designed for anyone interested in hemp and hemp production.

Forum topics include federal, state and tribal regulations, discussions on plant breeding, agronomy and marketing opportunities, and financial and technical assistance.

This is the first year Minnesota’s Industrial Hemp Program is operating under a new, federally approved state plan that governs production and regulation.
