Minnesota cattle industry convention, trade show is Dec. 13-14

MAPLE PLAIN — The Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association will host its 2019 convention and trade show Dec. 13-14 at the Willmar Conference Center, Willmar. The convention will feature MSCA’s annual Cattlemen’s College series with timely topics and speakers, membership meetings and networking opportunities with local, state and national leaders and beef industry partners.

Key agenda items include updates on BMP's against activist and nuisance lawsuits and open discussion /questions about current challenges; a panel of industry experts combating lab-grown, synthetic or other substitutes posing as equals; SWCD-led conversations and demonstrations displaying soil health impacts of overgrazing; legislative updates; the MSCA Best of Beef Banquet and annual meeting; and a cattle focused trade show.

Register at mnsca.org. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Best Western: (320-235-6060) and Holiday Inn: (320-231-2601). Both are connected to the convention center. MSCA special block rates are available until Nov. 12 or when the block is sold-out. When making reservations, mention you are attending the Minnesota Cattle Industry Convention and Trade Show.
