WORTHINGTON — Edina Realty has a new home in Worthington at 1425 N. McMillan St. The location opened May 1.

Realtors Renee Baerenwald and Staci Murphy are excited to settle into their new space.

“We love, love, love it,” Baerenwald said.

The reason for the move from their previous office in the Armory is to maximize business.

Baerenwald said the McMillan Street location has better traffic, visibility and exposure to attract home buyers and sellers.

“We wanted to be closer to the action,” Murphy agreed.

The Armory was always a temporary plan, and the realtors were able to move into a more ideal space in less than a year since first opening in July 2018..

“We do need to give a lot of credit to Edina Realty,” Murphy said.

“For being extremely supportive and having faith in us,” added Baerenwald.

Murphy and Baerenwald have been working together for 11 years out of their respective 13 and 14 years of real estate experience

Worthington is a good place for real estate, they said, because it has amenities but feels like a small town.

Looking forward, the realtors would like to continue to help both sellers and buyers while showcasing high standards.

“We want people to think of Edina Realty when they think of real estate,” Murphy said.

Both say their favorite part of real estate is the people they help and the relationships they build.

Murphy offered encouragement for first-time home buyers.

“Don’t feel like you have to buy one of the first three houses we show you,” she said. “You’ll know it’s the right property for you when you walk in the door.”

In the coming weeks, Baerenwald and Murphy look forward to getting the Edina Realty sign outside their new office.

Edina Realty is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and by appointment on evenings and weekends.
