WORTHINGTON - Kyle Rockwell, PT, is the new manager of therapy and rehabilitation services for Sanford Worthington Medical Center.
Rockwell grew up in Salem, Ohio. He earned his bachelor’s degree in 2011 from Baldwin Wallace College, Berea, Ohio and his doctorate in physical therapy in 2014 from Youngstown State University, Youngstown, Ohio. He moved to the area in 2015 when he started as a staff physical therapist at Sanford Worthington.
“We are excited to have Kyle join our leadership team,” said Reed Fricke, director of ancillary services. “He brings a patient centered mentality and therapy experience to lead a high quality, best practice driven therapy department.”
“I am eager for the opportunity to lead the rehab department and grow as a professional,” Rockwell said. “I have enjoyed my time as part of the team and look forward to leading and growing the department. While this is new position for me, we have a great therapy team at Sanford Worthington.”
Rockwell lives in Spirit Lake, Iowa with his wife, Tessa. They are expecting their first child in February. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, friends and their dog. He also likes to hike, play basketball and volleyball, and spend time on the lake.
