WINDOM - Jerry Papenfuss of KDOM-AM/FM in Windom has announced the sales of the stations.

 

New owners are Riverfront Broadcasting of Minnesota, owned by Carolyn and Doyle Becker and Steve and Laura White. Headquartered in Yankton, S.D., Riverfront owns and operates stations in South Dakota, Iowa and Illinois.

 

Papenfus has been the owner of KDOM stations since 2001.

“I am very pleased to pass ownership of our station to Riverfront,” Papenfus said. “They are professional broadcasters with an outstanding track record. They understand and are committed to serving the needs of our listeners, our community organizations and our advertisers.”

 

The change of ownership is expected to take place on June 30.
