Tickets to go on sale this week for Kiwanis Grocery Dash

WORTHINGTON - The Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Worthington will host its second annual Kiwanis Grocery Dash at 8 p.m. May 1 at Fareway Grocery.

 

The winning ticket for the event will be drawn at 6:45 a.m. April 27 during the club’s meeting at the Center for Active Living, 211 11th St., Worthington. First prize is a two-minute shopping spree at Fareway with a total value of groceries up to $1,250, while second prize is a $250 Fareway gift card. Third- and fourth-place winners will each receive $25 gift cards.

 

A limit of 1,500 tickets are being sold; winners need not be present to win. Individuals may gift or designate a winning ticket to a second party. People must be at least 18 years old to participate in the dash.

For second prize, three tickets will be drawn to participate in placing five items back in place on the proper shelves. Third and fourth prize will go to the others vying for second place.

 

Tickets will be available Thursday through Saturday, as well as April 20-22, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the Thursday and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Saturdays. For more information, phone 329-5425 or 370-2416.
