Duininck Inc. names Chris Duininck president
PRINSBURG — Duininck Inc. of Prinsburg has named Chris Duininck as president of its Minnesota division, effective April 1.
With the transition to the new role, he will be focusing on optimizing organizational structure and performance for the heavy civil construction company, which offers a diverse range of services and products. Trevor Duininck, a third-generation owner with a tenure of seven years as Chris Duininck’s predecessor, announced the transition at an all-employee meeting on April 4.
“Over the last five years, Duininck has expanded its footprint in southwest Minnesota and eastern South Dakota and invested significant resources in growing our capabilities through leadership development, safety improvements and performance excellence,” Trevor Duininck said. “With Chris’ deep industry knowledge and commitment to the organization’s success, Duininck is well-positioned for continued growth while sustaining the values we uphold as a family business that seeks to serve our Midwest communities.”
Chris Duininck, also a third-generation owner, formerly held the title of vice president of operations /contract management at Duininck Inc. and is well-versed in the organization. He has more than 30 years of experience in the family business, holding various positions within the aggregates, asphalt paving, grading, estimating, contract management and golf divisions.

While Chris Duininck now assumes the lead role in various strategic initiatives and operations, Trevor Duininck will continue to support the ongoing success of the company as an active part of the senior leadership team. His focus as CEO of Duininck Companies, the parent company of Duininck that is headquartered in Willmar, with holdings across several industries, will be maximized through the transition.
Duininck Inc. is comprised of several diverse construction groups and aggregate production sites throughout Minnesota, Iowa and South Dakota, along with a division in Texas. Founded in 1926 with a focus on heavy highway construction, it has grown both organically and through acquisitions to offer expanded services such as residential and commercial lot paving, asphalt production and paving, site development, bridge construction, underground utilities, and golf course and sport court construction.
