FULDA - An area 2½-year-old was a recent $5,000 winner of the annual WINcentive Savings drawing.
WINcentive Savings is a prize-linked savings account that offers members the chance to win cash prizes from a statewide drawing pool. The goal of WINcentive, a Minnesota-based program, is to foster a regular habit of savings among its current members, and to also attract or broaden a new membership base.
A total of 45 $100 winners are drawn each month, four $1,000 winners are drawn each quarter and one $5,000 winner drawn annually. The winners are chosen from among participating credit unions across Minnesota.
