ADRIAN — The Adrian and Ellsworth city offices are joining together to have a little friendly competition between their cities.
They are asking residents of all ages to participate while practicing social distancing by decorating their front yard and home/windows in the patriotic theme, “Proud to be an American.”
Once the decorating is complete, people are asked to take a picture of their home and post it on their town’s Facebook page, using the hashtag #BetterTogether.
All pictures must be posted by May 8. Then, people will be asked to “like” any of the pictures on each town’s Facebook page. Each “like” counts as one vote, and voting will continue until 8 a.m. May 11. Make sure to visit both pages!
The winner will be announced on May 11, with the winning town to receive a trophy with COVID-19 #BetterTogether on it to display at their City Hall office for the year.
