Benefit for Sibley family is March 10

SIBLEY, Iowa -- WeCare of Osceola County will be hosting a pork loin meal March 10 as a fundraiser for the family of Cavell Van Westen, who was diagnosed with rectal cancer on June 26th, 2018.

SIBLEY, Iowa - WeCare of Osceola County will be hosting a pork loin meal March 10 as a fundraiser for the family of Cavell Van Westen, who was diagnosed with rectal cancer on June 26th, 2018.

The meal will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Sibley Senior Center, located at 612 Eighth St. The meal will consist of grilled pork loin or hot dogs, cheesy potatoes, green beans, tea roll, dessert, coffee, lemonade and water.

A freewill offering will be accepted for the family. Carryout is available; there will not be delivery. Silent auction items and a bake sale will also be available at the fundraiser, and proceeds will go to the family.

People who are unable to attend but wish to donate may make checks to WeCare and mail them to P.O. Box 24, Sibley 51249. For more information, contact Brad Willemssen at bwwilly2611@gmail.com .
