Blood donation dates, times listed

ST. PAUL — During this season of giving, the American Red Cross urges eligible donors to give the gift of life to help ensure patients don’t have to worry about the availability of blood this winter. Blood and platelet donations of all types are needed, especially type O.

Upcoming blood donation opportunities in the region include:

Mountain Lake: 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Community Center, 1027 Second Ave.

Windom: 1 to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 8, Community Center, 1750 Cottonwood Lake Drive.

Worthington: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Worthington Area YMCA, 1501 Collegeway.


Luverne: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Luverne High School, 709 N. Kniss Ave.
