Brewster Fun Days is Friday-Sunday

BREWSTER — Brewster will mark its annual summer celebration, Brewster Fun Days, this weekend.

Events get underway Friday with pizza in the park starting at 5 p.m.

The remainder of the schedule includes:

Friday, July 19

5:30 p.m.: Kiddie Pedal Pull, Fourth Avenue in front of the school


7 p.m.: Little Mr./Miss Brewster drawing, Bandshell; medallion hunt and kids games in the city park

8 p.m.: Glow Run registration

9 p.m.: Glow Run

Saturday, July 20

8 a.m.: Softball tournament, sand volleyball registration

8 to 11 a.m.: French toast and sausage breakfast, Legion Hall

9 a.m.: Sand volleyball tournament, registration for bean bag toss

9:30 a.m.: Bean bag toss tournament, city park


10 a.m.: Car and Tractor Cruise-In, Fourth Avenue in front of school

11 a.m.: Kids games in city park, horseshoe tournament registration; food booths open in city park.

Noon: Horseshoe tournament, city park; parade line-up

1 p.m.: Parade; Groove, Inc. performs in city park

3 p.m.: Kids water fight

9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.: Street dance, SSCB rock music

Sunday, July 21

8:30 to 11:30 a.m.: Brewster Fire Department Relief Association annual pancake breakfast, Legion Hall.
