REGIONAL — The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting event will begin at 7 p.m. Dec. 13. Participate by lighting a candle on your doorstep or in your home to honor the memory of a child/children who have died too soon.
Believed to be the largest mass candle lighting, a virtual 24-hour wave of light will be created as it moves from time zone to time zone. Hundreds of thousands of people host candle lightings as families gather in quiet remembrance of their sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and grandchildren who have died.
