JACKSON - The Friends of the Jackson County Library group is accepting donations for its annual book sale through Sept. 5.

The event provides supplemental funds for programs, materials, and other extras for the Jackson, Lakefield and Heron Lake libraries.

Books, audio books, music, movies, puzzles and games can be dropped off in Jackson at the Historic State Theater and Sunshine Foods.

If needing help with dropping off books or have a large number, please contact a librarian at (507) 847-4748 in Jackson, (507) 662-5782 in Lakefield or (507) 793-2641 in Heron Lake.

This year’s book sale is scheduled for the week of Sept. 10.
